Traveling / On-Site Project Manager - Structural Steel
Employment Type: Full-Time
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel projects in a traveling and on-site capacity. This role is responsible for managing projects from start to finish, coordinating field operations, and ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the structural steel industry and be comfortable traveling to job sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage structural steel projects from fabrication through erection.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field teams, contractors, and clients.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and scope of work.
- Coordinate with detailers, fabricators, and erection crews.
- Track project progress and resolve field issues.
- Ensure work is completed safely and according to project plans and specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in the structural steel industry.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Ability to travel and work on-site as required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
