Known for delivering high‑quality projects with speed, accountability, and strong field leadership, the company continues to build a reputation as one of the region's most active and forward‑thinking builders.

With a substantial pipeline of work ahead, including a large‑scale townhome development expected to run 18–24 months, the organization is seeking a strong field leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments and takes ownership from groundbreaking through turnover.

About the Position

The company is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee day‑to‑day field operations on multi‑family and commercial construction projects throughout the region. This individual will play a critical leadership role in managing subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, driving quality control, and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

  • Oversee buildings, sitework, utilities, and phased construction operations
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to plans/specifications
  • Maintain and drive the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager
  • Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure readiness for major milestones and occupancy requirements
  • Maintain organized, professional, and safety‑focused job sites
  • Produce and distribute short‑term three‑week look‑ahead schedules
  • Provide daily updates and progress reports to project leadership
  • Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies
  • Assist with punch list completion, project closeout, and client turnover

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain aggressive schedules
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a direct, solution‑oriented approach
  • High level of accountability and ownership in the field
  • Experience coordinating with municipalities, inspectors, and utility providers
  • Familiarity with certificate of occupancy (C of O) processes and inspection requirements

  • Experience with tight schedules and high‑volume turnover demands
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and standard construction management tools
  • OSHA knowledge and commitment to maintaining safe job sites
  • Understanding of how field decisions impact project budgets and overall cost control
