Senior Inspector

Job Summary:

The Construction Inspector will be responsible for the supervision of bridge and roadway construction projects. The successful candidate will manage overall contractor performance to ensure a quality product and maintain designated budget while meeting contract deadlines. He or she will be accountable for submittal reviews and document control.

Inspector Responsibilities:

Monitor adherence to contract documents

Implement quality control procedures

Prepare Inspector Daily Reports Perform construction inspection tasks for items including:o Structural steelo Concreteo Masonryo Mechanicalo Electricalo Plumbingo Fire protectiono Architectural elements

Job Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering preferred

Minimum 5 years’ experience

Preferred certifications include:o Concrete Fieldo Soils and Aggregate so Hot Mix Asphalto Work Zone Safetyo OSHA 10o Erosion and Sediment Control Strong written and oral communication skills

Valid Driver’s License
