Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Position Summary

This position involves working with existing supervisors and supervises production crews and subcontractors. This position also is responsible for implementing safety and best practices.

Superintendent – Salaried Position OT Exempt

Reports to:

VP of Operations

• Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and subcontractors.
• Read and understand project field manuals of various roofing systems and manufacturers.
• Ensure company safety procedures are implemented and followed.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
• Establish and maintain lines of communication with external and internal customers (GCs, Building Owners, Owner Representatives, Consultants, Project Managers, Estimators, etc).
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently to meet schedules and budgets.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.

• 5+ years of Commercial Roofing experience.
• Experience with various Commercial Roofing systems (e.g., single-ply, torch, hot rubberized asphalt, metal, coatings).
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to travel to and manage multiple job sites.
• Computer literate in Outlook and Excel preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, both hot and cold, and in windy conditions.

Physical demands: sit, handle, climb ladder, bend, kneel, type, talk or hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Must drive.

Salaried Position OT Exempt.
