Construction and Development Manager - Full Time

FTK Hospitality Baltimore | East Coast & Select Midwest Markets (Travel Required)

Join a well-established, multi-market hospitality and entertainment organization as a Construction and Development Manager. In this role, you will lead new build and renovation projects across a dynamic portfolio of restaurant, retail, and hospitality venues. We are looking for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple projects while ensuring they meet brand standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage new build, renovation, and buildout projects from concept through completion.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and design consultants to ensure project alignment.
  • Track budgets, conduct cost analysis, and implement value engineering (VE) processes.
  • Review and approve RFIs, ASIs, field directives, and change orders.
  • Oversee general contractor schedules and monitor on-site construction progress.
  • Participate in punchlist and project turnover processes.
  • Prepare project status updates and presentations for leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and quality specifications.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of construction management experience, preferably in retail and/or hospitality new build projects (restaurants, retail, hotels, or entertainment venues).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and construction scheduling software.
  • Strong understanding of construction codes, contracts, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and vendor/stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing project deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to East Coast markets with some Midwest travel required.
