Job Description:

As a Floral Production Manager, you will work closely with the Principal Floral Designer and be an integral part to bring the visual aspects of our events to life. This role demands a creative individual with extensive experience in floral design and event execution. Your responsibilities will span from initial design concepts to the physical setup and post-event breakdown at various locations all over the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Floral Design and Execution: Design and build floral arrangements in the studio and on-site at events, including weddings and other parties. Lead mockups, installs, and special production builds
  • Inventory Management: Take charge of ordering, maintaining, and managing all studio inventory.
  • Studio Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the floral design studio, ensuring efficiency and organization, as well as washing buckets and cleaning inventory.
  • Event Management: Oversee end-to-end floral event production from planning, to on-site, through post-event. Travel is required, as our events take place in various locations.
  • Material Purchasing: Helping to order all necessary materials and flowers, and collecting options for hard goods.
  • Order Planning: Attending site visits and coordinating the ordering of hard goods based on the event needs.
  • Labor Coordination: Maintaining a master list of freelancers, booking labor, and managing event-specific communication including parking and timelines. Coordinate travel, logistics, and transportation
  • Support to Principal Designer: Assist the principal designer with various needs in the studio, ensuring that all creative visions are executed flawlessly.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in floral design or event production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams, freelancers, or production crews in a fast-paced event or design environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to direct teams clearly, maintain morale during long production days, and collaborate closely with planners, designers, and external partners.
  • Physically able to lift, move, and install event materials and work long production hours when required.
  • Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours, as required in the event industry.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
