The responsibilities of the Assistant Service Manager at Koons Ford Baltimore are overseeing our service lane, including greeting customers, listening to their needs, and working with our service advisors, business development center, and concierge to serve our guests.

Assistant Service Manager Compensation and Benefits:

Assistant Service Manager Responsibilities:
  • Meet with our Service Advisors early and review the prior and current day’s business
  • Train our Service Advisors
  • Train our Concierge team members
  • Be involved with and train our business development center members
  • Ensure we are delighting our guests
  • Ensure all incoming telephone calls are promptly answered
  • Ensure we return all phone calls and respond to all text messages from our guests
  • Ensure quality control and active delivery of our guest’s vehicles
Assistant Service Manager Requirements:
  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
  • Ability to identify the problem quickly
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
  • Very energetic personality
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Minimum of 3 years in a fast paced/high volume service department
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent
