Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness
- Lead and develop the customer service team, setting performance expectations, coaching staff, and promoting a customer‑first culture
- Oversee order management processes, including order entry, tracking, issue resolution, and on‑time delivery performance
- Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory teams to ensure seamless service execution
- Manage customer onboarding, including system setup, SOP development, and service‑level alignment
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction
- Proactively identify service gaps and implement process improvements to enhance the overall customer experience
- Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and urgency, ensuring timely resolution and follow‑up
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in customer service or account management within a 3PL, logistics, or warehouse environment
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a fast‑paced operational setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and customer portal
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem‑solving capability
- Experience managing key accounts in a multi‑client 3PL environment
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a dynamic, high‑volume setting
