City of Baltimore is seeking a Fire Dispatcher to handle emergency and non-emergency calls from 911, 311, Mutual-Aid, and within the agency. Dispatchers assign units according to protocols in a radio center and work rotating 12-hour shifts with days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and four years of public contact work including two years on two-way radio and related equipment; candidates must be able to stay calm under stress and type accurately
