White Marsh Family Dentistry is now seeking an experienced Part Time Dental Front Desk Coordinator in Baltimore, Maryland!

Part Time Dental Front Desk Coordinator Schedule

2 Days per week

Monday and Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm, 1 hour lunch break

Flexible to discuss days if needed

The ideal candidate is cross trained as a Dental Assistant & Front Office. Must have MD Radiology license. Front office experience specific to AR, Insurance billing and claims processing knowledge a must.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet patients for positive first impressions
  • Treatment coordinating and presentations to patients
  • Patient check in/out
  • Coordinating patient payments
  • Insurance verification
  • Answers incoming calls and managing voicemails
  • Scheduling and Confirm appointments
  • Treatment plan preparation and presentation
  • Confirming patient information and gathering needed patient documentation
  • Managing the flow of provider schedules
  • Patient & Partner Practice Communications
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • 2 or more years dental front office experience required
  • Cross trained as a Dental Assistant & Front Office. Must have MD Radiology license.
  • Front office experience specific to AR, Insurance billing and claims processing knowledge a must
  • Experience with insurance verification, payment posting, treatment preparation and presentation
  • Experience with dental practice software, Denticon preferred
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
  • Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a team
  • Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Must be familiar with HIPPA and OSHA Compliance.
