White Marsh Family Dentistry is now seeking an experienced Part Time Dental Front Desk Coordinator in Baltimore, Maryland
. As a Part Time Dental Front Desk Coordinator
, join a collaborative team of clinical, business and operations professionals. This is a part-time role with a focus on front desk coordination within a dental practice.
Part Time Schedule
2 Days per week
Monday and Wednesday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, 1 hour lunch break
Flexible to discuss days if needed
This position is ideal for a team member seeking additional work-life balance while remaining in the dental industry. The ideal candidate is cross-trained as a Dental Assistant & Front Office, with an MD Radiology license and front office experience in accounts receivable, insurance billing and claims processing.
Responsibilities- Welcome and greet patients for positive first impressions
- Treatment coordinating and presentations to patients
- Patient check-in/check-out and coordinating patient payments
- Insurance verification
- Answering incoming calls and managing voicemails
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Treatment plan preparation and presentation
- Confirming patient information and gathering needed documentation
- Managing the flow of provider schedules
- Patient & Partner Practice Communications
- Collaborate with the front office and clinical teams to ensure efficient operations
- High school diploma required
- 2 or more years dental front office experience
- Cross trained as a Dental Assistant & Front Office; MD Radiology license required
- Front office experience specific to AR, Insurance billing and claims processing
- Experience with insurance verification, payment posting, treatment preparation and presentation
- Experience with dental practice software, Denticon preferred
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
- Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA compliance
