U.M. FDSPAssociates is a non-profit affiliate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. U.M. FDSP Associates is the organization that provides patient care focused staffing for the clinic operations sothat faculty and students may provide patient care to the general public
We offer paid vacation, sick leave, personal days, and 12 Federal paid holidays. Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday with no weekends.
Under limited supervision, provides patient support for clinical dental treatment and financial administrative assistance. Will act as a liaison between patients,staff, students, residents, and faculty.
Conducts a variety of administrative tasks related to the efficient operation of the Pediatric Dentistry program and is an adjunct to the patients,insurance, and business team.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college preferred.
Candidate must possess dental knowledge or extensive dental experience. Maryland Radiology License, Certified Dental Assistant required. Expanded Functions/DANB certification preferred. Additional dental assisting credentials as applicable. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word computer programs required. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a professional demeanor.
