Data Collector

Data collectors are needed to travel to public schools throughout the State of MD. Your assignment will be in the county that you reside in. Part-time position that starts at the end of September and ends in December. The survey will be conducted in approximately 385 public middle and high schools in across the 23 county jurisdictions and the City of MD.

The results of the Maryland Youth Risk Behavior Survey (MD YRBS) will be used to (1) monitor health-risk behaviors among middle and high school students; (2) evaluate the impact of state and local efforts to prevent health-risk behaviors; and (3) improve school health education policies and programs. We need professional individuals throughout the state who have an interest in the health and well-being of adolescents to help administer the web survey.

This is a temporary position in which you can expect to work on average 3 days per week for approximately 6-8 weeks. Data Collectors must be available full-time for the duration of the survey period.
