Project Architect
We are seeking a degreed Project Architect with 5-10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading projects from early design through construction documentation. The Project Architect will excel in design, technical, and project management aspects of architecture, with an emphasis on advanced Revit production. This role involves leading architectural design efforts, including conceptual master plans and building design, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from early design through construction documentation.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
- Deliver highly refined architectural design solutions.
- Develop and refine design concepts for planning, architecture, and interior design projects.
- Manage architectural projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and review design and construction documents, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and standards.
- Coordinate efforts with technical disciplines and consultants.
- Engage with high-end private club clientele and key stakeholders.
- Participate in weekly office-wide scheduling meetings.
- Evaluate project progress, performance, and design goals.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 5-10 years of architectural experience.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
- Strong knowledge of building codes.
- Excellent conceptual and master planning skills.
- Experience in architectural contract documents and specifications.
- Strong visual communication skills including hand sketching, graphic diagrams, 3D modeling, and rendering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with graphic software tools such as Photoshop, Enscape, and Sketch Up is desirable.
- Experience in sustainable design or LEED is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Work Environment
The position is based in Baltimore, MD, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. Monthly travel is required for day trips and occasional overnight stays, focusing on private clubs, clubhouses, restaurants, and aquatic centers. Pay and Benefits
