Project Architect
Seeking a Project Architect with 3+ years of experience to lead commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on a variety of projects with a talented team of designers, planners, and architects. Applicants should have experience in the design and documentation of complex projects – including ground-up, adaptive reuse and significant renovation. Our studios cover the housing, commercial and hospitality sectors – often with overlapping mixed-uses.
Knowledge of the intricacies of those uses is a plus. You'll lead the production of deliverables through all project phases—from schematic design to construction administration. You'll demonstrate strong technical leadership, coordinate documentation, and ensure design quality and compliance with building codes and zoning regulations. This role also involves direct engagement with clients and contractors, mentorship of junior staff, and close collaboration with Principals, project design leaders and project managers to uphold the integrity of the design vision throughout the process.

Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary teams Construction administration experience Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Experience mentoring junior staff Collaborative and team-focused mindset Knowledge of sustainable design principles a plus Hospitality, residential, and mixed-use project experience preferred Strong client presentation and relationship management skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
