The Facility Designer I is an essential, valued member of the HDR O&M Facilities Design staff directly responsible for developing a major portion of our project deliverables. This person is self-motivated, creative, and innovative, with the ability to be a team player in an international, employee-owned A/E firm.

As a Facility Designer I, you will be responsible for:
Facility programming, report writing, site master planning, developing specifications and construction documents Selection, coordination and layout of various aspects of design (vehicle maintenance equipment, site flow, etc.) Creating / using Building Information Modeling (BIM) to complete different levels of documents Submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review Conduct construction field observations Other design / engineering tasks as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in industrial design, facility planning, equipment layout, or workflow analysis is preferred but will consider entry level candidates with 4-year degree and strong BIM skills Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to effectively interact with and present to client Exceptional level of accuracy and detail Local candidates preferred Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design or related Command of Revit and AutoCAD, and knowledge of Sketch Up Command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project) Working knowledge of LOD 300 requirements HDR is our company.
