Base salary for a cardiac anesthesiologist starts at $460,000 plus a $50,000 cardiac call stipend, and a $50,000 sign-on bonus. Earn up to $650,000 annually with negotiable general call ($40,000) and optional weekend shifts.
Comprehensive benefits package available through Life Bridge Health system including, but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, disability, reimbursement for CME, credentialing license renewals, memberships, etc. 8 weeks paid vacation, 8 holidays, and up to $30,000 per year employer contributions towards a 403(b)-retirement plan, and employee may also contribute towards a 457(b) deferred compensation plan.
The position requires at-home cardiac call one third of the year with a very infrequent call-in rate; no general call required, but available for additional compensation.
Life Bridge Metropolitan Anesthesia provides general, pediatric, and cardiac anesthesia services at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore as well as other care centers within the greater Baltimore region. Sinai Hospital is located in the northwestern section of Baltimore City by the Pimlico Racetrack, home of the Preakness Festival.
Sinai Hospital is a full-service non-profit acute care hospital providing a wide array of medical and surgical services to its patients. Sinai Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center and a teaching hospital with residency programs in general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Surgical services include: general surgery, general/subspecialty orthopedic surgery, general/subspecialty gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiac, thoracic, spine, dental, ophthalmologic, oncological, trauma, and robotic surgery.
