Job Description
Lung Transplant/Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine )- The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking transplant pulmonologists to expand our transplant pulmonologist team. The lung transplant program is centered at the University of Maryland Medical Center and is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. We are focused on providing exceptional care to patients with critical lung illnesses and developing cutting edge treatment.

Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher, however, rank, tenure status and salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. We offer competitive salary and benefits, as well as an environment supportive of professional development.

Qualifications
This position requires an MD/DO degree from a recognized accredited university (or foreign equivalent). The successful applicant will be BE/BC in pulmonary and critical care, have experience in transplant pulmonology, have strong clinical and teaching skills, and be eligible to obtain an independent license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland. An interest in transplant-related clinical and/or translational research is encouraged.
