Job Description

Genitourinary Malignancies (Position ): The Department of Medicine of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCC) located in Baltimore, MD are seeking additional faculty to join our expanding programs. Our programs emphasize the multimodality care of oncology patients and clinical and translational research. The essential functions of the position include inpatient/outpatient consultations and longitudinal patient care, teaching and mentoring of Hematology/Oncology fellows, residents and medical students.

Active participation in clinical research is expected. Interaction with basic and translational scientists is strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

All candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and be board certified or board-eligible by the ABIM in internal medicine and hematology and/or medical oncology, as well as eligible for a medical license in Maryland. Applicants with a strong interest in and/or published literature relating to conducting clinical/translational research are preferred.

Expected faculty rank for this position is Assistant Professor or higher; however, final rank, tenure status, and salary will be dependent on the selected candidate's qualifications.
