Overview

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member to expand our team of Community and ED Radiology Specialists for professional services provided to the Department's on- and off-site ED departments. The successful candidate will have a distinguishing blend of experience in general radiology and the opportunity to focus on sub-specialty areas of concentrated interest.

This position is for a board certified, fellowship-trained Radiologist with strong interests in ED operations to provide on-site and remote coverage for multiple locations. Our clinical network is linked to the University of Maryland Medical Center, the heart of the University of Maryland Medical System's Baltimore campus, by an enterprise-wide EMR driven PACS system, supported by voice recognition dictation with seamless interoperability.

Openings are currently available for a near future start date. Graduating fellows and others that can start in July 2020 will also be considered. Work schedule will have a strong focus on sustainability and a favorable work/life balance. Candidates should be comfortable with the broad scope of ED radiology (plain film, CT, and ultrasound). Experience with Neuro MR is a plus.

There are no procedures, nuclear medicine, or mammography requirements.

We proudly offer competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits. Faculty rank is commensurate with candidate's qualifications and experience. Expected rank is Assistant Professor or higher; however, rank and tenure status is dependent on Candidate's qualifications.
