POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT:
Dear Colleagues,
After serving for many years as director of the Department of Neurology, Justin McArthur has decided to step down from this role. Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an outstanding leader to serve as the next director, and we ask for your help to identify candidates by applying or by nominating someone you feel is ideally suited for the position.
The department’s mission is to remain a world leader in clinical care, research, and education, as has been true throughout its long history. Candidates for the position should embrace all parts of the tripartite mission and have a demonstrated record of excellence in one or more of its components. Also, candidates are expected to have a record of service and administration, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and a compelling vision for the department and discipline.
We seek individuals whose unique perspectives, viewpoints and skillsets have fostered creativity and innovation.
