Duties & Responsibilities:

* Preparing lectures and laboratory exercises;

* Submitting textbook and course syllabus; preparing and grading quizzes and exams;

* Entering information in Starfish reporting and grade submission;

* Recruiting and advising students;

* Attending faculty meetings and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics Required

Minimum Qualifications

Educational:

* The successful candidate must have achieved a graduate degree in the Biological Sciences/ Microbiology/Immunology or Developmental Biology, or Anatomy and Physiology, or a closely related discipline from an accredited College or University with relevant teaching experiences as the instructor of record.

* The applicant should have substantial teaching, laboratory, and curriculum development experiences.

* The applicant should be experienced with student-centered and inquiry-based approaches to teaching science.

Other Preferences for Consideration

Preference will be given to candidates with a Doctoral Degree in Microbiology/Immunology or Developmental Biology, or Anatomy and Physiology.
