Role Description

This is an on-site (local facilities), Part-time (seasonal) role as a Youth Development Volleyball Coach based in Baltimore, MD. The coach will design and implement volleyball coaching sessions to develop player skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The role involves mentoring youth athletes, fostering their growth, and promoting self-discipline. Additional responsibilities include overseeing practice and game-day activities, creating a positive and inclusive environment, and collaborating with other staff to support youth development goals within the community.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Volleyball and Coaching to teach techniques, strategies, and sportsmanship effectively.
  • Strong Communication skills to engage with youth, families, and team members, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.
  • Experience in Training and mentoring young athletes to improve skill levels and build confidence.
  • Background in Education or youth-focused programming to design developmental activities aligned with organizational goals.
  • Passion for youth development, leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering inclusivity and personal growth.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
  • Previous experience in sports coaching or a related role is a plus.
