Spanish‑Speaking GED Instructors provide academic instruction in Spanish to adult learners preparing for the GED exam. This Instructor position supports students across academic areas including but not limited to test preparation, science, social studies, reading, and math (algebra and geometry).
Daytime availability required. Classes will be held in partnership with Baltimore County Public Schools. Class schedules may vary, but all classes will be held during daytime hours (8:00am to 3:00pm) during the school year (late August to mid‑June).
Campus locations:
Essex, Dundalk, Catonsville & Owings Mills
BA/BS degree and at least 1 year experience and/or training teaching adult literacy required. Bilingual written and verbal fluency in Spanish and English required.
Ability to deliver adult literacy instruction in Spanish.
Class Specific Essential Duties- Lesson preparation, instruction, and assessment.
- Recordkeeping/data collection for grant reporting.
- Attendance at meetings and professional development workshops may be requested (stipends are paid for attendance).
