Position Overview
Affiliate Instructor – Speech‑Language‑Hearing Sciences (Part‑time)
The position is part of Loyola University Maryland’s Speech‑Language‑Hearing Sciences department. It is a graduate‑level teaching role with a flexible remote or hybrid arrangement depending on the applicant’s state of residence.
- Anticipated start:
September 8, 2026 - Course load:
One or two undergraduate courses per semester (15‑week term) - Compensation: $4,000–$4,500 per course; final offer based on experience, equity, and budget alignment
- Prerequisite:
Master’s or Doctoral degree (or equivalent) in Speech‑Language‑Hearing Sciences or a related field - Required submission:
Curriculum Vitae (CV) - Background check required; no visa sponsorship provided
- Eligibility:
Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete Form I‑9 by the first day of employment
- Design course content, construct syllabi, deliver lectures, and manage classrooms
- Develop assessments, grade student work, and provide student supervision
- Serve as the instructor of record for assigned courses

Courses are taught in person on Loyola’s main campus, typically twice weekly. The role may be fulfilled remotely or in a hybrid format in accordance with state eligibility.
