Job DescriptionWorcester Polytechnic Institute invites applications for the part-time position of Adjunct Teaching Faculty. The Chemical Engineering Department is seeking part‑time adjunct faculty to teach day and/or evening classes. Positions will be filled on an as‑needed basis and start dates vary by course and semester.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses with options for on‑campus, off‑campus in a corporate setting, and online delivery.
- Match courses in the current chemical engineering curriculum with your areas of expertise.
- Hold an advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Prior teaching and/or industry experience is valued.
- Ability to work part‑time across multiple semesters.
$8,000–$10,000 per course.
