Affiliate Instructor – Mathematics & Statistics. Type:

Location:

Loyola University Maryland, Main Campus. Start:
September1,2024. The Department occasionally hires qualified candidates to serve as affiliate instructors for one or two courses per semester. The instructor acts as instructor of record and is responsible for course design, syllabus construction, lecture delivery, classroom management, grading, and supervising students.

• Design course content and construct syllabi.
• Deliver lectures and manage classroom environment.
• Grade assignments and exams.
• Supervise students and provide academic support.

• Master’s, Doctoral degree or equivalent in mathematics or statistics.
• Experience in teaching or delivering courses in this discipline.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Availability to teach one or two courses per semester.

$4,000.00–$4,500.00 per course.
