Research Assistant Professor – Computer Science
Position:
Research Assistant Professor (Visiting Professor) – Full Time – Faculty – Non‑Exempt – Contractual.
Division:
Division of Academic Affairs.
Department:
Computer Science Department.
Salary: $60,000 per year (Private Grant).
Job Summary:
This is a non‑tenure‑track, 3‑month summer research position in the University.
Job Duties:
The successful candidate will develop focused research areas in quantum computing, quantum security, machine‑learning model training, emotion AI, and other computer science areas; supervise undergraduate and graduate students; and provide service as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in computer science (or PhD candidates expected to complete before employment).
- Demonstrated potential for high scholarly impact through research and publications.
- Demonstrated oral and written proficiency in the English language.
- Strong research skills with publications in quantum computing, quantum security, ML model training, and emerging AI research.
