As a Para educator in St. Anne’s Early Childhood Education department, you will directly impact young children, ages 0‑3. You will support classroom care, collaborate with teaching staff to plan, facilitate, and implement individual and group activities that stimulate children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth, assist with inclusion of children with special needs, and encourage parent engagement in educational activities.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday; 07:00AM – 04:00PM

Location:

• Assist with planning and implementing age‑appropriate classroom activities that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Support daily operations by preparing materials, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to observe, document, and assess child progress and assist in implementing individualized learning goals.
• Encourage parent engagement by supporting family‑friendly environments and participating in educational activities and home visits.
• Foster inclusion by supporting children with diverse needs and promoting practices that reflect cultural, linguistic, and individual differences.

• 6+ months’ experience as a student intern, tutor, or instructional assistant working with pre‑elementary school children.
• 12+ ECE/CHDV units.
• High school diploma.
• California Teaching Commission Child Development Associate Teacher permit (preferred).
• If no permit is held, a professional development plan will be put in place to ensure pathway to obtain the permit.
• Bilingual English, Spanish, Korean, and/or Tagalog (preferred).
