Cardinal Shehan School, located in Baltimore, Maryland
, is seeking a qualified, full-time Elementary Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic school year. The Elementary Teacher plans, organizes, and implements the instructional program in a Catholic environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God.
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
- Incorporate primary sources, multimedia, and inquiry-based learning to deepen students’ understanding
- Use a variety of assessment methods to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Promote a classroom culture of respect, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
- Integrate technology and cross-curricular connections into lessons when appropriate
- Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Participate in school events, professional development, and collaborative planning
- Lead a school club
- Uphold the school’s mission, values, and policies
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Position Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Education
- Current MSDE certification or ability to achieve required certification.
- Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn about the integration of technology into lessons.
- Practicing Catholic preferred.
Pay Range: $48,000 - $54,000, Annualized
