Key Duties and Responsibilities- STEM/Science Teacher
- Design and deliver hands‑on lessons in science, technology, engineering, and math.
- Integrate robotics, coding, and engineering concepts into instruction.
- Create project‑based learning experiences that promote innovation and problem solving.
- Lead extracurricular STEM activities such as clubs or competitions.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with families and staff to support student success.
- Performing Arts/Dance/Cheer Instructor
- Lead engaging classes in dance, cheerleading, theater, and movement‑based performing arts.
- Teach foundational techniques in choreography, stage presence, vocal expression, and physical coordination.
- Develop routines and performances for student showcases and community events.
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, and creative expression through group activities.
- Adapt instruction to accommodate various skill levels and learning styles.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for physical activity and performance.
- Arts, Crafts & Hobbies Instructor
- Teach age‑appropriate classes in painting, drawing, jewelry making, and more.
- Adapt instruction to various learning styles and skill levels.
- Foster creativity and self‑expression through hands‑on activities.
- Organize student showcases and project‑sharing events.
- Maintain safe use of tools and materials.
- Social Time & Study Hall Tutor
- Supervise and facilitate structured social interaction and peer engagement.
- Provide academic support and guidance during study hall periods.
- Encourage positive communication, teamwork, and respectful behavior.
- Monitor student progress and offer individualized assistance as needed.
- STEM/Science Teacher
- Associate’s degree in STEM‑related field or teaching certification preferred.
- Experience working with children or teens in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of scientific principles and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Performing Arts/Dance/Cheer Instructor
- Associate’s degree or certification in Performing Arts, Dance Education, or related field preferred.
- Experience teaching dance, cheer, theater, or performing arts to children or teens.
- Knowledge of age‑appropriate choreography, performance techniques, and safety practices.
- Strong communication, motivational, and classroom management skills.
- Arts, Crafts & Hobbies Instructor
- Associate’s degree or certification in Art Education or related field preferred.
- Experience teaching or mentoring youth in creative disciplines.
- Knowledge of diverse artistic techniques and mediums.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Social Time & Study Hall Tutor
- Experience working with children or teens in educational or recreational settings.
- Ability to support academic and social development in small groups.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing
Work hours- Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Instruction takes place in classrooms, makerspaces, community centers, and outdoor learning environments. Instructors must be comfortable with hands‑on teaching and flexible learning formats.
