C. Jenkins Department of Biophysics () invites applications for tenured appointments at the associate and full professor levels. We encourage applicants who seek to understand the physical chemistry, structure, function, and assembly of biomolecules, their integration into subcellular and cellular structures, and time-dependent processes spanning molecular and cellular scales. We encourage the use of theory and computation as well as experiment, and welcome applicants who use machine-learning and artificial intelligence methods to enhance their research programs.

We also encourage applicants in advanced imaging, cryo-ET, and cryo-EM, and high-throughput biophysics which are emerging areas of strength at Johns Hopkins. Successful applicants will join a vibrant and collaborative biophysics community at Johns Hopkins which includes both the T.C. Jenkins Department of Biophysics in Arts & Sciences and the Department of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry at the School of Medicine.

A Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience or equivalent are required.

Salary: $131,500-$316,000.

The expected academic base (9-month) salary range for the Tenured Associate/Full Professor level is $131,500-$316,000.

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
