Position: CENTRAL CLERKSHIP ADMINISTRATOR - REGIONAL MEDICAL

Hybrid remote available.

Support students in the George Washington Medical Campus at Sinai Hospital.

About the Role

The Central Clerkship Administrator provides support to departments at Sinai Hospital to implement and administer required clerkships in the George Washington MD program curriculum. This student-facing position works collaboratively with the clerkship director and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all processes comply with accreditation requirements and school policies.
  • Verify faculty appointments for all physician teachers.
  • Maintain familiarity with accreditation standards and school policies.
  • Stay current with best practices through academic societies and committee meetings.
  • Administer and monitor evaluations of all clerkship program aspects.
  • Collect student evaluations from faculty.
  • Assist director in compiling grades.
  • Assist the clerkship director in monitoring and tracking student progress and completion.
  • Compile clerkship data and prepare reports for the program director.
  • Support medical students during the clerkship.
  • Manage orientation, including preparing orientation packets.
  • Onboard students to ensure they meet requirements for each site (EMR, training, etc.).
  • Assign students to sites or patient care teams.
  • Set up reminders for students to complete duty hours and clinical encounters in relevant databases.
  • Handle student queries and requests.
  • Ensure learning environment and activities meet compliance requirements and standards.
  • Schedule, secure, and book rooms for simulation experiences, educational sessions, and exams.
  • Order, coordinate, and proctor shelf exams.
Requirements
  • Education:

    Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    1‑3 years of relevant experience.
