Assistant Professor of School Counseling
Loyola University Maryland is seeking exceptionally qualified applicants for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the School Counseling Program to begin Fall 2026. The position comes with a 10-month contract. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
Qualified applicants will have a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program, be licensed or license-eligible as a professional counselor, possess strong clinical and supervisory experiences, and demonstrate the potential for becoming a productive scholar in the field of counselor education.
Preferred applicants will be licensed or license-eligible as a school counselor and possess clinical experiences and scholarship that advances counseling in a school setting. Priority Final date to receive applications:
December 1, 2025 Compensation Range $78,000 - $82,000
Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited institution at time of hire.
Successful candidates for any staff, faculty, or administrative position at Loyola University Maryland will be subject to a pre-employment background check.
