- Provide leadership and coaching expertise to the team.
- Recruit student athletes to the institution in sufficient numbersto field an eligible and competitive team for the duration of theseason.
- Encourage and promote student athletes to make academic progress and attend all classes.
- Read, understand, and apply correctly all rules and regulationsof the college, NJCAA, NJCAA Region 20, and the Maryland JUCOConference.
- Work cooperatively with the college administration and support staff.
- Participate in an organized fund raising program.
- Cultivate an environment of good sportsmanship.
- Perform responsibilities in multi-purpose sharedfacilities.
- Serve as a van driver for intercollegiate games and scrimmages as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Adjunct level 1 - $1,085 per credit hour.
Minimum Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years high school, college coaching or playing experience.
- Certification in first aid, CPR and AED.
- Valid Driver's License with less than 5 points.
- Knowledge of athletic and wellness equipment.
- Experience in multi-purpose recreational facilities.
- Familiarity with the governing bodies of collegiateathletics.
- Supplemental (Retirement Annuities) 403(b) and 457(b) Tax-sheltered annuities – 403(b). Payroll salary reductionauthorization is needed. The form is available on Share Point Forms /Human Resources Forms.
The 403(b) supplemental retirement plan is available to all CCBCemployees (Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees). - Roth 403(b) is a savings feature that is available when youopen a 403(b) account. The Roth 403(b) savings feature allowsemployees to contribute after-tax dollars and then withdrawtax-free dollars from their account upon retirement. The Roth
403(b) savings feature is only offered by the following vendors:
TIAA-CREF and VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save forretirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees maycontribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b) post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combinedfor the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions. - Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYAFinancial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorizationform is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms.
Free. Must obtain a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety to use on all campuses.
Sick and Safe LeaveCCBC is pleased to offer paid sick and safe leave for part-time employees. Paid sick and safe leave is earned by all part-time employees including credit and non-credit adjunct faculty,part-time associates and other part-time employees.
