Job Overview
Instruct college credit and non‑credit courses on a part‑time basis. Hours vary and may include evenings and weekends. Courses are taught in a classroom setting and may include a lab component. Instruction is in one of several offered CAD applications (primarily AutoCAD, Solid Works, CREO/PROE) and/or Technical Drawing Theory to adult learners majoring in CAE Engineering, Manufacturing and related disciplines. Develop lesson plans to support the Common Course Outline, develop and administer evaluation methods (tests, quizzes, projects, reports), grade evaluation methods and final course performance, classroom management, and delivery of instruction.
CompensationAdjunct Level 1 – $1,085 per credit hour.
Minimum Requirements- Three years documented work experience in the field of Computer Aided Design.
- Professional Licenses or Certifications.
- Prior teaching experience in the field of Computer Aided Design.
- An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree in a related subject.
