Physical Education | Health Teacher Make a Meaningful Impact Every DayAre you a passionate educator who believes in the power of movement, wellness, and relationships to transform lives? Our nonpublic school program is seeking a Physical Education & Health Teacher who is committed to supporting students with diverse learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
This is more than a teaching role—it's an opportunity to help students build confidence, resilience, and lifelong healthy habits in a structured and supportive environment.
What You'll Do Instruction & Student Engagement- Deliver engaging, high-quality Physical Education and Health instruction
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Supervise and support students across school settings
- Design lessons aligned with MSDE standards and individual student needs
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Collaborate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary planning
- Track student academic and behavioral progress
- Maintain accurate records including attendance, grades, and reports
- Partner with teachers, administrators, families, and service providers
- Support a team-based approach to student success
- Implement school wide behavior systems
- Promote positive student engagement and growth mindset
- Provide direction to classroom support staff
- Contribute to a collaborative and mission-driven team
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Physical Education, Health, or related field
- Maryland Educator License (MEL) (or eligibility required)
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Experience working with students with special education needs preferred
- Ability to design and adapt lessons for diverse learners
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort with technology and documentation systems

Salary range of 60- 70 K commensurate with experience and active MSDE license.
