Salary

$210,000 - $295,800 per year based on faculty rank and years in rank. Total compensation may vary and include benefits and incentive programs.

Description

The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center / Department of Oncology seeks a Director for the Head and Neck Cancer Program. The successful applicant will lead a multidisciplinary group focused on patient care and research, build program infrastructure, provide mentorship, and develop a portfolio of novel clinical or translational research in head and neck cancer. The Director will oversee phase I–III clinical trials and collaborate with faculty on upper aerodigestive cancer research.

Qualifications
  • Experienced researcher at Associate Professor or Professor level with a focus on Head and Neck Cancers (HPV+ and HPV- squamous cell cancer, salivary gland cancers, thyroid cancers).
  • Strong background in clinical trials and translational research.
  • Experience in collaborative research, education, and program building.
  • Eligibility for licensure in the State of Maryland.
