SummaryThe Recruiter Master Trainer (RMT) plays a critical role in the development, coaching, and mentoring of Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officers (RRNCOs) within the Army National Guard. Serving as a subject matter expert in recruiting processes and techniques, the RMT is responsible for assessing individual and team performance, developing and delivering structured training programs, and fostering continuous professional growth to enhance recruiting and retention success.
This position requires dynamic leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and guiding others in a fast-paced, result-driven environment.

Yes, with standard DOD travel reimbursement rates
- 75–50% local travel required
- 25-50% regular overnight TDY travel in support of contract or mission execution
Education and Experience
- The RMTs shall possess, as a minimum, five years of successful military recruiting experience (or have obtained a Master Badge if prior ARNG or Army recruiter (or equivalent from another branch of service) and preferably served in a leadership position with any Recruiting Command (any branch of service) as at least a Team Leader, or equivalent (typically a senior E6 or E7)).
Education and Experience
- Previous experience as an ARNG RR 1SG or NCOIC
- A college degree is preferred but not required for RMTs
- Prior experience as an RRBN Master Trainer
- Background in RRBN Operations or as a MEPS Guidance Counselor
- Must complete 48 hours of in-person training per month
- Normal hours: 0730–1700, Monday–Friday (excluding Federal holidays), though flexibility is required
- Valid state issued Driver’s License and automobile insurance required
- NACLC and POSTA Screening Required
