IT provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and continuous improvement for Humanim's abil
IT workforce development program. This position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of technology training, professional development services, employer engagement activities, and employment placement outcomes for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Reporting to the VP of Workforce and Economic Development, the Program Director oversees all aspects of program administration, staff supervision, compliance, participant outcomes, community partnerships, employer engagement, and fiscal stewardship. The Program Director serves as the primary point of accountability for program performance and is responsible for ensuring participants achieve industry-recognized credentials, competitive integrated employment, and long-term career success.

This position works collaboratively with Humanim leadership, employers, educational partners, vocational rehabilitation agencies, and community stakeholders to advance Humanim's mission.

Essential Responsibilities Program Leadership & Operations
  • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day operational oversight of the abil
    IT program.
  • Develop annual program goals, objectives, performance metrics, and implementation plans aligned with organizational priorities and funding requirements.
  • Ensure all program activities are delivered in accordance with Humanim policies, funding requirements, accreditation standards, and abil
    IT standard practices.
  • Lead the development and implementation of program policies, procedures, workflows, and quality assurance processes.
  • Monitor participant enrollment, retention, completion, credential attainment, employment placement, and retention outcomes.
  • Analyze program performance, identify opportunities for program innovation, expansion, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of workforce development trends, technology career pathways, disabil

    y employment practices, and labor market conditions.
  • Directly supervise and provide leadership to the Technology Instructor, Professional Development Instructor, Job Development Specialist, and other assigned personnel.
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings, performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and professional development activities.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performing team culture.
  • Provide ongoing guidance regarding participant engagement, instructional strategies, employment services, documentation standards, and outcome achievement.
  • Support staff in developing individualized professional development plans and career advancement goals.
  • Ensure staff maintain compliance with required certifications, trainings, and professional standards.
Participant Services & Outcomes
  • Ensure participants receive high‑quality, person‑centered services that support successful completion of training and employment goals.
  • Oversee participant recruitment, outreach, intake, assessment, selection, and enrollment activities.
  • Ensure participant support services are coordinated effectively to promote retention and success.
  • Review participant progress and intervene when barriers to completion or employment are identified.
  • Promote equitable access to services and ensure accommodations are provided in accordance with disability inclusion best practices.
  • Monitor participant satisfaction and implement improvements based on participant feedback.
Employer Engagement & Workforce Partnerships
