Improve Your Tomorrow College Access Mentor

IYT's Mentor Fellowship Program offers an opportunity for diverse college or recent high school graduates and emerging leaders to develop strong, innovative, and empathetic leadership skills while supporting young scholars of color on their journey to and through college. Mentor Fellows serve at middle school, high school, or local college campuses, providing valuable mentorship and academic support in Signature Programs:
College Academy, IYT Community College, or IYT University. Programs are available in Sacramento, Central Valley, Bay Area, Maryland, and Minnesota. Candidates of all genders are encouraged to apply!

As a College Access Mentor, you will help increase college enrollment rates among middle and high school students enrolled in Improve Your Tomorrow’s College Academy program. Responsibilities include providing mentorship, academic support, college advising, parent engagement, organizing college tours, leading weekend and evening events, and engaging in after‑school programs.
