Exercise Science and Life Fitness (EXSC/LFIT) Adjunct Faculty Pool

Position for the adjunct faculty pool teaching Exercise Science and Life Fitness courses at Howard Community College. The role is part time and includes teaching 1–3 courses each semester, based on schedule and availability.

• EXSC 200 Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries
• EXSC 209 Sport and Exercise Nutrition
• EXSC 210 Sport and Exercise Psychology
• EXSC 250 Exercise Science Internship
• LFIT 117 Aquafit
• LFIT 122 Strength Fit
• LFIT 126 Yoga I
• LFIT 127 Tai Chi
• LFIT 128 Martial Arts I
• LFIT 130 Mixed Martial Arts
• LFIT 131 Martial Arts of Southeast Asia
• LFIT 132 Yoga II
• LFIT 136 Kickboxing for Fitness
• LFIT 137 Circuit Weight Training

• Prepare course materials and update the Canvas learning management system
• Attend required faculty/staff meetings and complete trainings
• Meet with students as needed
• Grade and assess student work
• Deliver quality instruction and meet other employment related requirements from the division and the college
