Position Title:

Dual Enrollment Middle College Adjunct Faculty Pool

FLSA:
Non‑Exempt

Hours per Week: 3 hours per week per class plus grading and preparation.

Work Schedule:

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm (12:30 – 1:50 pm, Monday–Thursday)

General Responsibilities:

• Teach 1–3 dual enrollment courses each semester.
• Prepare course materials and manage Canvas course site.
• Attend required faculty and staff meetings and trainings.
• Meet with students as needed, assess and grade work.
• Provide quality instruction and support students toward academic goals.
• Participate in professional development, faculty teams, and special projects as directed.

Disciplines Needed: ENG 121, PSYCH 101, CMSY 110, HIST 132, COMM 101, COMM 105

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline; a master’s degree may be required.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in high school (or equivalent classroom teaching).
• Ability to deliver rigorous course material in a face‑to‑face or hybrid environment.
• Experience with multi‑language learners is preferred.
• Proficiency in Canvas or similar learning management systems.

Pre‑employment requirement:
