The Computer Science/Information Technology Department at the Community College of Baltimore County is seeking day and evening adjunct faculty for all campuses. Preferred candidates are enthusiastic about content and pedagogy, use best teaching practices, and are committed to student learning. Preference will be given to applicants who present evidence of excellence in teaching and those who, through education and experience, demonstrate ability to teach across multiple Computer Science and Information Technology disciplines.

Adjunct Level 1 - $1,085 per credit hour.

Minimum Requirements- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. (Unfurnished transcripts required with application)
- Two years teaching experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work experience as a computer professional
- Related IT certifications
- Teach assigned Computer Science/Information Technology courses in accordance with learning objectives and common course outlines of the college.
- Mentor students and contribute to the success of the Computer Science/Information Technology program.
- Support the community college philosophy through commitment to success of students with diverse goals, backgrounds and learning styles.
- Commitment to the mission of the community college.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Maintain currency in field(s) through professional development and scholarly activities.

- Paid contributions to Roth 403(b) allows employees to contribute after‑tax dollars and then withdraw tax‑free dollars option is available only through TIAA‑CREF and VOYA Financial Advisors. Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees are eligible.

Free. Must obtain a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety to use on all campuses.
