Archbishop Borders School, located in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking a part‑time Physical Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The Physical Education Teacher will provide grade‑school students with a comprehensive academic and physical experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Physical Education curriculum. The position requires availability two days per week, with scheduled hours 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and is a 10‑month teaching role.

• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the Catholic Church.
• Plan and implement instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of Maryland Standards.
• Create an instructional environment conducive to learning.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development in a timely manner.
• Teach physical fitness, individual and team sports, utilizing appropriate learning activities.
• Motivate each student to cultivate physical fitness and appropriate social and emotional adjustment, discovering and developing students’ talents in physical achievement.
• Communicate standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book.
• Ensure the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside the classroom.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MSDE Certification required or willingness to obtain certification.
• Classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Proficiency in using a variety of technology.

Pay Range: $14,784 annualized for this 16‑hour per week position ($22.00 hourly)
