* Minimum Requirements:
***** MFA degree or equivalent professional experience in painting or related field
* Professional career in painting
* Experience critiquing advanced students
* Experience teaching at graduate and/or undergraduate levels or in alternative learning spaces such as residencies, research programs, and community organizations
* Demonstrated ability to support professional development of painters as emerging arts practitioners
* Evidence of ability to work with colleagues across disciplinary boundaries
* Excellent communication skills

***** A proven track record of working collaboratively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, experiences, education levels and degrees of professional training
* Demonstrated ease with social media, digital networking, writing, and presentation

** Salary:** $65,000 - $80,000. Commensurate with experience and college policy; excellent benefits package (HR to add / MD State compliance).

**** One of the only graduate programs to focus solely on painting, the Le Roy
E. Hoffberger School of Painting MFA is a two-year program that offers a select group of highly motivated painters the opportunity to find their individual voices within a supportive community.
