Position Duties

The Department of Management and Organizations seeks a tenure‑track faculty position in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organizational Behavior (OB) commencing Fall 2027. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and MBA courses in HRM and OB, developing new courses such as Strategic HRM, People Analytics, and Human Capital Consulting, and contributing to curriculum development. Candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and serve the department and institution.

  • Salary Range: $130,000‑$160,000

Required Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in HRM, OB, I/O Psychology, or a closely related field (conferred no later than May
    31,2027)
  • Demonstrated teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels in HRM and OB
  • Record of peer‑reviewed scholarly publication to achieve Scholarly Academic status under AACSB and Sellinger guidelines
  • Commitment to Loyola’s Jesuit mission, serving the whole person, and fostering inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in Strategic HRM, People Analytics, Human Capital Consulting, selection and retention, performance management, or total rewards
  • Experience developing or teaching HRM curriculum or academic programs
  • Professional experience or connections in the HR field (e.g., SHRM)
  • Demonstrated inclusive teaching and collaboration with students and colleagues in line with Loyola’s mission of cura personalis
