Baltimore Junior Academy is seeking a Christian, innovative, and compassionate teacher to join our team of dedicated educators serving grades K–2 for the  school year. We are looking for someone who inspires a love of Jesus, learning, fosters a nurturing classroom environment, and embraces the use of technology to enhance instruction and student engagement.

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Use engaging, technology-integrated teaching practices to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
• Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with students, families, and administration.
• Incorporate digital tools and interactive learning platforms to support creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Model kindness, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and contribute to a vibrant school community.

Requirements:

• Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Achieved no less than a Bachelor's Degree
• Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
• Sterling Volunteers clearance

Qualifications:

• Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
• Prior teaching experience preferred
