Weoffer the region’s most expansive selection of degree, certificate and workplace certification programs at 3 campuses plus 3convenient CCBC centers along with off-site community locations. /p pSocial Work Adjunct faculty are needed to teach Introduction to Social Work and Human Behavior in the Social Environment courses oncampus day, evening, weekend, remote synchronous, and/or online classes at the Community College of Baltimore County.

Adjunct faculty will be expected to facilitate learning via preparation and delivery of instruction, cooperation with College support staff intimely submission of materials and grades as required, and coordination of activities with the Department Chair and/or Program Coordinator. Adjunct faculty are selected based on program needsand subject matter expertise of the applicant. Adjunct faculty are required to attend department meetings, participate in professional development related to classroom instruction and pedagogy, be available to students outside of class, and assist in maintaining program accreditation.

liMaster’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work. /li liLicensure as an LCSW-C, LCSW, or LMSW /li liA minimum of five (5) years of experience as a social worker. /li liProficient computer skills and Microsoft applications knowledge. /li /ul referred Requirements
liPrior online and/or remote synchronous college teaching experience. /li liExperience using classroom technology and learning management systems /li liTwo (2) years teaching experience, college teaching experience /li /ul lass Specific Essential Duties  liFulfills department and college responsibilities as directed bythe Department Chair and/or Program Coordinator.

/li liAbides by College wide policies and procedures regarding classroom conduct. /li liEmploys a variety of teaching strategies to meet a diverse student population. /li liAdheres to the scheduled time of class. /li liDevelops a course syllabus that is in keeping with program and College policies. /li liEnsures that program specific evaluation methods are administered and completed in a consistent and equitable manner. /li liAssure that assessment/evaluation methods are appropriate and effectively assessing the established course objectives.
