The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy is conducting an open search for a School Professor, Non-Tenure Track,in the Department of Practice,Sciences andHealth Outcomes Research .This position requires teaching, service to the school, campus and the profession, and scholarly activity.
The position isa full-time,12-month appointment based atour Baltimorecampus. In addition to service, and scholarly activity this position will be responsible for Institutional and Curricular Assessment and serving as course manager for the Pharmacy Law PharmD course, review sessions and oversight of MPJE licensing requirements.

Lead institutional assessment and academic effectiveness, managing campus-wide assessment processes, analyzingfaculty workload and productivity,conducting major institutional surveys,mapping and evaluating PharmD curricular outcomes, and interpreting student performance data to guide program improvement.
SCHOLARSHIPConduct original research evidence-based decision making, policy development, and scholarly analysis across key academic and operational areas, including pharmacy school enrollment trends, curriculum design and tuition structures, student remediation and grading policies, innovative faculty promotion and tenure models, and faculty salary benchmarking.
Scholarlyactivityisrequired;publicationandpresentationofworkis expected.
Securefundingforresearch projects.
Publishresearchfindingsinpeer-reviewed journals.
Scholarlyactivitywhichmaybepursuedeitherindependentlyorincollaborationwithother schools, departments, or campus faculty.
SERVICETOTHEUNIVERSITY,SCHOOL,AND PUBLICParticipateinappropriatefacultyactivities(e.g.,facultyassembly,department meetings,faculty committees), professional organizations, and other endeavors.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAn earned J.D. Juris Doctor or equivalent degree with a strong focus on institutional assessment and pharmacylaw.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIESProfessionalconductinalldealingswithstudents,faculty,or administration.

The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
